As Cordova’s Community Behavioral Health Clinic, Sound Alternatives works with people of all ages to overcome mental health and substance abuse challenges.
We are designed to work with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of behavioral health concerns including anxiety, depression, anger management and impulse control issues and more complex issues such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse and traumatic brain injury.
Since 1976, Cordova Community Medical Center has been working to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment to the community, because we know that a healthy community is a strong community.
Sound Alternatives has professionally educated and trained clinicians who are ready to help you get on your own path to recovery.
No matter the level or the intensity of the substance abuse, recovery is possible!
Do you or a family member experience a developmental disability? Our staff can provide care coordination.
Did you know that Cordova clients and a psychiatrist from Alaska Psychiatric Institute can communicate directly via a telemedicine link?
